Formulated using propolis and herbs to support the repair of those delicate cells that make up the wall of the gut. The aim of this tea is to help support your gut lining to stay in good order and to repair if it is damaged, for example if you have ulcers or leaky gut. This tea combines a delicious mix of peppermint to calm the movements of the gut, reduce inflammation and tackle microbial infections, hawthorn to protect and ameliorate any damage already existing in the tight cell structure of the gut wall, yarrow to repair ulcerative damage, nettle to increase nutritional uptake and reduce sugar absorbtion, propolis which contains flavonoids that have been shown to aid the rebuilding of vascular walls in conditions such as periodontal disease, stomach ulcers and haemorrhoids, chamomile to improve motility and reduce inflammation.
Simply add around half to 1 teaspoon to a tea ball, infuser or muslin teabag, or about 1 - 2 dessertspoons to a tea pot, pour boiling water over, leave to sit for 5 minutes and enjoy.
I grow all of my plants organically, although they are not certified (this saves cost and workload!). Anything I have to buy in, I make sure it is organic and from an ethical source. Once the bees have taken their fill of pollen and nectar, I harvest the plants from my garden.
